Andrew G. Mathis, A.D.R.
Andrew is an Accredited Disability Representative(A.D.R.) serving the Washington, D.C. metro area. He is a member of both the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) and a longtime sustaining member of National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).
A D.C.-area native, Andrew attended American University where he studied Justice, Law and Society. He got involved with casework at his family’s firm, Mathis & Mathis, in the early 1990s and joined full-time in 1992. He had the privilege of training for Social Security cases and learning the ins and outs of disability law from his parents, Dallas and Judith.
Since joining the firm, Andrew has successfully represented thousands of Social Security Disability claimants before the Social Security Administration. Andrew is a member of the Multiple Sclerosis(M.S.) Society, National Capital Area, and the Legal Advisory Board with a focus on how Social Security Disability Rules and Regulations apply to those suffering with M.S.
When he’s not representing clients in their Social Security Disability hearings, Andrew enjoys playing, coaching and watching soccer. Andrew also travels when his schedule allows.
